SPECIAL FOCUS MINISTRY

CELEBRATE RECOVERY "The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the '8 Recovery Principles.'  This experience allows us to 'be changed.'  By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually, becoming free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors.  This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.  As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power--Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power."

Our group meets Sunday evenings from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at the Petroglyph Elementary location.  If you would like more information, please call 243-0369 or the church office at 247-3611.

GRIEFSHARE is a DVD and discussion driven support group for those who have lost loved ones and those who want to prepare themselves to minister to those who have. Meeting for thirteen weeks per session, it is offered as needed.  Please call the church office at 247-3611 if you are interested in participating in a group.

NOON DAY MINISTRY is designed to help heal the damage the past has inflicted on so many here in Albuquerque.  The sign above our facility sums up our objective: "We at Noon Day strive to help because of God's love" - a simple objective at the heart of God's desire.  Sometimes we see a visible transformation in people's lives because of Noon Day's efforts.  More often we find ourselves easing the suffering that has been building over a lifetime.  We always endeavor to minister dignity and respect.  Noon Day also strives to prevent homelessness by providing assistance to families on the verge of eviction from their current living quarters.
