Albuquerque's First Baptist Church is committed to spreading the Truth through our mission efforts. Our church is involved with missions within our city, state, and country. Mission efforts also extend beyond the borders of the United States. We are willing to serve in any situation to which God calls us. We are currently working with a church in Honduras, and our church has sent missionaries to a variety of countries throughout the world.
Since 2006 Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church has been engaged in mission work in Malawi, Africa. Over the years, our partnership with the local church in Lilongwe has expanded significantly. We have been able to share the Gospel with numerous people and lives have been changed.
God continues to do an amazing work in Malawi and we are blessed and excited to be a part of it. We want to invite you to be a part of it was well. Not everyone can go to Malawi to share the gospel and build a church, but you can participate in the Malawi Mission Project with your prayers and financial support.
AFBC's newest mission efforts have led us to the country of Romania, where we have worked with local missionaries to spread the Word of God throughout the country. We are excited about the work that God is doing in the part of the world. If you are interested in learning about our mission work in Romania, please contact Outreach & Evangelism Pastor, Kevin Linthicum.
Albuquerque's First Baptist Church is involved in the local community through a variety of outreach events. Each year we hold several block parties at city parks, provide meals for the Ronald McDonald House, and participate in city-sponsored events. We also partner with the Rock at NoonDay to provide assistance to those in need here in Albuquerque. There is always a place for those willing and eager to serve.
