MISSIONS AND OUTREACH

COMMUNITY OUTREACH Albuquerque's First Baptist Church is involved in the local community through a variety of outreach events.  Each year we hold several block parties at city parks, conduct a large Fall Festival in October for area families, and participate in city-sponsored events such as Zoo Boo.  We also minister to UNM students through "The Free Stuff Guys," provide baby blankets and lap quilts through our Piece Makers Quilting Ministry, and cooperate closely with the Noon Day Ministry to provide assistance to those in need here in Albuquerque.  There is always a place for those willing and eager to serve.

INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH Albuquerque's First Baptist Church actively participates in several international mission opportunities.  Currently we are partnering with local churches in both Honduras and Malawi in Southeastern Africa.  We will also begin working in Romania in the near future.  If you are interested in participating in any of these mission opportunities or simply want more information, please contact the church office at 247-3611.
