First Years is our ministry to children just starting out in this life, ages birth to 5 years. It provides an amazing time for our committed leaders to interact with and teach the youngest of our church. We provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for your preschoolers. It is a privilege for us to allow you the opportunity to worship and learn while we invest in your children. You may drop off your little ones beginning at 8:45 a.m. on Sundays. We will provide fun and learning for them until the end of service at approximately 12:15 p.m. 

What is Parent's Day Out?

Parent’s Day Out is a childcare program offered to the community by Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church. We are here to serve families by providing Christ-centered care for children giving parents some much-needed time during the week. Parent’s Day Out is available for kids 6 months- Pre-K.


Parent's Day Out is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.

The registration fee of $30/child is to reserve each child’s spot and supplement the supplies for the program. This fee must be paid before a child may begin attending Parents Day Out. The registration fee is non-refundable.

When is Parent’s Day Out Open?

Parent’s Day Out is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. If you are interested in your child attending our Parent’s Day Out program please contact our director, Kristi Sullins, to discuss registration and to familiarize yourself with our program.


Where Is Parent’s Day Out?

Parent’s Day Out meets at Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church in the Preschool Hallway. We also have access to a full outdoor play facility. 


What does it cost for my child to attend Parent’s Day Out?

The registration fee of $30/child is to reserve each child’s spot and supplement the supplies for the program. This fee must be paid before a child may begin attending Parent’s Day Out. How Do I Register my child?

You can register for PDO by completing the downloadable registration packet. Packets can also be picked up at the First Stop table at Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church.
