WHAT IS DNOW Weekend?
DNOW stands for Disciple Now. This is a in-home weekend retreat held every February at Albuquerque's First Baptist Church. Each year students in grades 7-12 from across the Albuquerque area come to Albuquerque's First Baptist Church and stay in host-homes of families from AFBC. Students are divided up into groups based on grade and gender. Guest leaders from across the state come to guide each group of students throughout the weekend.
This weekend is filled with crazy games, inspiring worship, and great Bible study along the opportunity to spend quality time with friends, new and old.

I HAVE SOMETHING ELSE I HAVE TO DO THAT WEEKEND. CAN I STILL COME TO D-NOW?
Yes! We understand that many students have other obligations such as sports and academic clubs that may have an activity scheduled for the same weekend as DNOW Weekend. Simply complete the "Time Away" form below and let us know when you have to be gone. You must have a parent authorize your "Time Away" form before you can leave DNOW Weekend.
WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?
Everyone who attends DNOW Weekend will be staying in "Host Homes." These homes are hosted by members of Albuquerque's First Baptist Church. Students will be assigned homes based on their grade and gender. All homes are located near AFBC. Click the link below to see who this year's host families are.
All host families have been approved by the AFBC staff and have submitted to background checks.
WHAT IF I HAVE ALLERGIES OR TAKE SPECIAL MEDICATION?
When you sign-up, you will be asked to inform AFBC of all allergies and medications you are on. We will notify your "Host Home," and they will make sure everything is taken care of throughout DNOW Weekend.
